Delivery Terms

• Each order's scheduled delivery date & timeframes will be confirmed by us no later than 72 hours after the respective order's payment has been received by us. We must receive accurate amount of payment by no later than 24 hours from order date & time.
• Delivery timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. Actual delivery times may vary due to traffic, weather, access to property, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• We may require to be emailed at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date & timeframes, authorizing us to access the property to make the delivery without anyone's presence, including the approximate place or position/location, as well as an alternate location to place the firewood.
• Although we preferred that the customer and/or a designated representative is present and/or available during the delivery timeframes at the designated delivery address to "receive" the delivery, we have the right to drop off the firewood safely nearby.
• It is the customer's responsibility to email us to request rescheduling delivery dates and/or timeframes at least 24 hours prior to the previously agreed upon date and/or timeframes and the customer's responsibility to ensure we reply confirming the rescheduling request.
• The firewood will be "placed" in the designated area, and/or in an alternative "appropriate" location as instructed by the customer. While we strive to accommodate specific placement requests, we have the right to place it in a different location for safety reasons and/or any other related reasons.
• We have the right to reschedule the delivery date and/or the timeframes at our discretion, for reasons such as weather & road conditions, traffic, safety, incomplete customer information, no customer communication, non-timely and/or inaccurate payment; We will ensure to communicate with the customer.
• We have the right not to return to pick up the delivered firewood at all, or we may return to pick up a portion or all of it at a much later date & time.
• There may be a re-delivery fee if a prior delivery attempt was unsuccessful due to the customer's fault.
• We are not responsible for firewood left unattended, including theft or damage to firewood after delivery is completed.
• We are not liable nor responsible for any existing damage to property (e.g., cracked tiles, deck strain, or any other structural damage) occurring beyond the public right-of-way.
• By placing an order, the customer authorizes us to enter the property to deliver and, if needed, retrieve firewood, and such entry will not be considered trespassing.
• We will not be responsible nor liable for any property damage, personal injury, or loss resulting from the use, misuse, or storage of firewood.

Delivery Boundaries

• A "standard" delivery is considered and means "easy access" — on street or first level, a driveway, and a maximum of 10 minutes of waiting time from time of arrival without the need to use any stairs and/or elevators; otherwise, additional fees may apply for non-standard deliveries.

Payment Terms

• An authorized, successful, accurate amount of payment per order must be received by us by no later than 24 hours from the date and time of each order before we decide to contact the customer to schedule a delivery date and timeframes, and it may take us up to 72 hours from receipt of accurate payment.

Refund Terms

• We may request the original customer to email us to request the amount of refund per order, including the reason(s) as optional, and must attach proof of payment(s) for each order a refund request is made, and at least 2 pictures of the firewood to be picked up by us by no later than 48 hours from the delivery date & time.
• It may take up to 72 hours from the date and time of each correctly completed refund request received by us to issue a refund.
• A minimum of 10% for each order may be charged as an administrative fee.
• Refund(s) is/are issued to the original form of order(s) payment(s).
• Natural variations in wood size, moisture, shape, and weight are expected and are not grounds for a refund.

Cancellation Terms

• We may request the original customer to email us before making payment or at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date & timeframes to request to cancel an order, and must include proof of order(s), as well as proof of payment(s) if any, at least 2 pictures of the firewood to be picked up by us, and a reason(s) is/are optional.
• We have the right not to return to pick up the delivered firewood at all, or we may return to pick up a portion or all of it at a much later date & time.
• We have the right to cancel any orders whether paid for or not, for non-timely payment and/or for any reason at our discretion.
• Refunds for paid orders cancelled by us will be issued to the original payment method within 72 hours after we receive the payment.

Product Terms

• Firewood weight, size, shape, and number of firewood pieces may vary to be between .75 cf to 1 cf per standard and/or mixed firewood bundles as well as in a variety of cord sizes.
• Natural variations in wood size, moisture, shape, and weight are expected and are not grounds for a refund.
• We do not guarantee specific BTU output or burn time for any firewood product.

Pest Disclaimer

• The firewood is seasoned outdoors.
• It is a natural product and may occasionally contain local insects, bugs, dust, or tiny wood pieces that may cause splinters.
• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure safe and proper storage of firewood.

Burn Safety

• The firewood is only for use in well-maintained, safe, approved wood-burning fireplaces or outdoor fire pits.
• It is the customer's responsibility to follow all local "Spare the Air" alerts and applicable regional burning regulations.
• We will not be responsible nor liable for any fire-related incidents, any property damage, personal injury, or loss resulting from the use, misuse, improper use, or improper storage of firewood.
• Firewood and fire starters may cause smoke and smell and may be unhealthy.
• Customers with respiratory conditions or health concerns should consult a physician before using firewood or fire starters.
• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure firewood is safely extinguished when not attended, and to contact emergency services including police, law enforcement, and the fire department if needed.

Customer Responsibilities

• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure each order contains complete, accurate, valid information and is authorized to make payments for each order's payment.
• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure safe and proper storage and use of firewood.
• By completing an order and/or payment, the customer confirms that all information including delivery address provided is accurate, accessible, and safe for our delivery vehicle and personnel.
• It is the customer's responsibility to review, understand, and agree to all of the SFFireWood.com Terms & Conditions before placing each order and before making payment.
• It's the customer's responsibility to review each third-party's privacy policy independently, including the payment apps.
• It is the customer's responsibility to follow all local "Spare the Air" alerts and applicable regional burning regulations, including but not limited to Bay Area Air Quality Index, California Fire Safety.
• It is the customer's responsibility to ensure firewood is safely extinguished when not attended, and to contact emergency services including police, law enforcement, and the fire department if needed.

Liability Waiver

• We will not be held liable nor responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damage arising from the purchase, delivery, storage, or use of our firewood products.
• By placing an order or making payment, the customer acknowledges and accepts all associated firewood and delivery risks.
• We are not liable nor responsible for any existing damage to property (e.g., cracked tiles, deck strain, or any other structural damage) occurring beyond the public right-of-way.
• By placing an order, the customer authorizes us to enter the property to deliver and, if needed, retrieve firewood, and such entry will not be considered trespassing.

Privacy Policy

• Customer information collected during the order process — including name, email, phone number, and delivery address — is used solely for order processing, delivery confirmation, and customer communication.
• We do not sell, rent, or share any information with any third parties.
• Our website does not save nor store any information.
• While we employ robust, industry-standard security measures to protect our website and your personal information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. By using our site, you acknowledge that no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure against unauthorized access or breaches.
• We are not responsible for any third-party privacy policies, including payment apps, social media, and communication platforms.
• It's the customer's responsibility to review each third-party's privacy policy independently, including the payment apps.

Changes to Products, Services, Delivery, Pricing & Terms

• All products, pricing, services, delivery terms, and these Terms & Conditions may change at any time without prior notice.
• It is the customer's responsibility to review, understand, and agree to all of the SFFireWood.com Terms & Conditions before placing each order and before making payment.

Governing Law

• These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, and the courts of San Francisco County.
• Prior to initiating any legal action, the customer agrees to attempt to resolve the dispute through good-faith negotiation.
• Any disputes arising from transactions with us shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the State of California.
• We are not liable nor responsible for any existing damage to property (e.g., cracked tiles, deck strain, or any other structural damage) occurring beyond the public right-of-way.
• By placing an order, the customer authorizes us to enter the property to deliver and, if needed, retrieve firewood, and such entry will not be considered trespassing.
